• Cannot produce white light – LEDs cannot create white light. Lights need diodes of different color, which can produce white light when simultaneously illuminated. But this combination made LED lights generate bluish light. The quality of the colors produced by LEDs can also begin to degrade. In LED illuminants that are designed poorly, there can be loss of brightness, imbalance of light and flickering.
• Can be damaged due to high temperatures –LED illuminants are more temperature-sensitive. In stadiums, temperatures have a direct effect on the operations and efficiency of LED lights. The lights can overdrive and even fail in case the ambient temperatures are too high. Thus, these lights need heat sinks to keep their internal temperatures cool and prevent the risks of damages.
